Fundi Software wins the Western Australian Export Award for Information and Communication Technology
Perth, 3 November 2007 - Fundi Software Pty Ltd - a leading provider of tools for IBM mainframe systems - was last night awarded the Western Australian Industry and Export Award in the export category of Information and Communication Technology.
The Western Australian Industry and Export Awards are the State's most prestigious business awards. They acknowledge the innovation, hard work, and success of businesses in reaching new markets.
Fundi's founder and Managing Director, David Mierowsky, accepted the award. Mr. Mierowsky said "We operate in a global market, so it is important to be reminded of the significance our work has on the local economy. I am confident that this award will help drive further innovation and global market success within our company."
Founded in 1985, Fundi has experienced significant growth in recent years. Fundi's export revenues have increased from 5% of total revenue in 1999, to 99% in 2006. Today, Fundi products are used by many of the world's Global 2000 enterprises.
In 1997, Fundi partnered with IBM to create IMS Performance Analyzer, which is sold and marketed worldwide by IBM. In 1998 Fundi won the ACS/ATUG WAITTA Exporter of the Year Award for that product. Fundi has since brought a further six products to market, all of which are sold through IBM.
