IBM Enhanced Access Control for SCLM

IBM Enhanced Access Control for SCLM for z/OS (EAC/SCLM) is an access control product for SCLM managed resources. EAC/SCLM augments the services of RACF, by granting access to SCLM managed resources only when SCLM or other defined programs are in use.

With EAC/SCLM you can achieve the following benefits:

  • Eliminate accidental damage to SCLM data sets
  • Limit access based on SCLM services or functions

RACF security administrators and SCLM administrators use EAC/SCLM. Any installation using SCLM can benefit from EAC/SCLM.
