Before contacting your local IBM support network, follow the steps below:

  1. Refer to the Problem Determination section in the your product manuals. Eliminate any user related problems as outlined in the manual.
  2. Record your software maintenance and release levels for the product in error, and any related software with which the software interacts
  3. Prepare a description of the problem and circumstances that lead to the problem condition
  4. Collect diagnostic information, including error output, job streams, and program inputs/outputs where appropriate.

Before contacting Fundi Software for support network, follow the steps below:

  1. Carefully consider the nature of the problem to eliminate user errors. All problems should be referred to your systems programmers or the product administrator before contacting Fundi Software
  2. Identify the type of failure. The failure may be:
    • Abend with associated code and dump
    • Error message with associated text
    • Incorrect outcome
    • Documentation error
    • Performance or looping
    • Wait state or non-responsive system
  3. Record your software maintenance and release levels for the product in error, and any related software with which the software interacts
  4. Prepare a description of the problem and circumstances that lead to the problem condition
  5. Collect diagnostic information, including error output, job streams, program inputs/outputs, and diagnostic traces where appropriate
  6. Provide contact details including:
    • Site or installation name
    • Site contact representative (your name)
    • Telephone number
    • Email address of site contact
    • Indication as to the problem’s urgency
